How to take RSL Trainings
(Referee, Stroke & Turn, Starter, Scorekeeper, Time Drops Operator, Head Timer, Clerk of the Course)

Scroll down to find the training you wish to take and click on the name hyperlink.

This will take you to the EdPuzzle website where you will either need to sign-in (returning members) or create a new account

Once you get into your account, you will now be able to access the training for the position you wish to learn. Select Join Class.

Once In the class, you will see the applicable video modules you will need to watch for the training. Within those video modules will be questions that you will need to answer. You can be enrolled in more than one class/training at a time.

At the end of your training make sure you hit the “Submit” button for your scores to be logged with the RSL. Any training in which you did not reach the minimum 70% pass rate, you will need to contact [email protected] to have your training reset

Once your training is complete and you have successfully passed the class(es), you need to notify the RSL that you are eligible for certification approval in those position(s) for which you have completed a training.
Return to the RSL training website and click the top hyperlink

You will fill out this google form showing your name, what training(s) you completed and what team you are affiliated with.

This information will be reviewed by the RSL and they will let our team RSL Rep know if you have been officially certified to complete the position(s). Once this is verified, you will be eligible to work those roles at our Swim Meet!
Time Drops Operator Learning Materials
To count as "certified" for the Time Drops operator position, please take the Head Timer training. In addition to that training, please review applicable time drops learning materials which can be accessed as below:

Scroll down to the blue Time Drops box and you will see a collection of links and resources for informational videos and documents. You should review this information and seek other information videos as necessary to familiarize yourself with the Time Drops system as much as possible.
