Hello, Express Families!

Here is the information for our AWAY meet this Wednesday 6/10 with the Woodland Wahoos.  Go Leeland!  Swim Fast!

Leeland Express at Woodlands 

June 10th @ 6pm 

The Woodland Wahoo’s will have a WAHOO THEMED meet! 

Location: 2 North Hampton Blvd Stafford VA 22554 

Once you arrive at Woodlands, please enter through the side gates, NOT the front doors. Swimmers and families will not be allowed to enter the pool until 4:45 pm, we ask that families and swimmers wait patiently outside until 4:45pm so the setup crew can get to work! The home team will set up camp on the splash pad side of the pool, our guests are welcome to set up on the opposite side, near the deep end of the pool. Overflow parking is available on the shoulders of Eustace Rd, Northampton Blvd, and adjacent neighborhood streets. Do not park immediately in front of the pool on either side of Northampton Blvd -- the sheriff's department will ticket vehicles that obstruct the flow of traffic.

• Disability Swimmers: Athletes with a disability are welcomed and shall provide notice of desired accommodations to the home team personnel. The athlete is also responsible for notifying the Head Referee of any disability or accommodation prior to the start of the meet. 
• Warmups: Each team will have 25 minutes to warm-up. Home team will warm up from 5:00-5:25 and Away team 5:30-5:55. 
• Rules: All rules of the Rappahannock Swim League are in effect. No photos or videos of any kind permitted behind the blocks at any time. 
• Officials: Officials will be provided as outlined in the RSL rules. 
• General: Swimmer Spectator conduct: each team is responsible for supervising the conduct of coaches, swimmers, and spectators. Raise any concerns to the RSL Rep or the Head Referee. No playing in the wading pool area or shallow end of the pool. 
• First Aid: Please see a lifeguard for assistance and report all incidents to the RSL rep listed above. 
• Clerk of Course: Is located on the pool deck to the right of the pool deck in the back corner. 
• Facility Rules: Please obey all posted signs. No glass, smoking, or pets are allowed on the pool deck. Please do not block entrances. NO ALCOHOL IS PERMITTED ON THE POOL DECK OR IN SPECTATOR AREAS! 
• Weather: If the meet is delayed because of weather, we may be asked to clear the deck…please, please, please DO NOT leave the meet. We will keep everyone posted on the meet status via Swimtopia, Facebook, and emails…
• Some items you may want to bring with you to the meet:
  • Chairs
  • Towels
  • Sharpies – you’re going to want to write your child’s events down on their hand or forearm!
  • Sunscreen
  • Bug Spray
  • Water
  • Snacks/$ for concessions and the Food Trucks
  • Sweatshirts (etc. in case the weather cools down at night)
• Concessions: We will have a table with water, Gatorade, soda and some snacks. 
  • Food for the evening: 
    • Color Puff- Cotton Candy 
    • Anita’s shaved Ice – Shaved Ice truck 
    • Popin Pancakes (dirty soda, dirty popcorn and pancakes)
