Good Evening Leeland Express Families,

Our first home meet is right around the corner and we hope you are ready for an exciting evening! I am so happy to see such a great turn out of volunteers already signed up, cheers to you for showing up for our kiddos.

We have 5 more positions that we need to fill; home meets take many hands to happen. If you plan to have your child swim in this meet and have not already done so, we absolutely need you to sign-up for a volunteer shift. We already have several families working a double shift this meet and I cannot thank you enough.

Hopefully we have a few more families sign-up to swim who can join us on deck but if you have an adult to spare we may need you.

As of the time of this email, we still need:

• 1.Announcer 2^nd half (“fun” script provided, let us hear your voice!)
• 2.Concessions Grill Meister -2^nd half
• 3.Lane Timer – 2^nd half
• 4.Female Safety Marshall -2^nd half (must be Safe Sport Certified- an easy certification for ANYONE regardless of swim team experience)
• 5.Time Drops Operator- 2^nd half (must be Head Timer Certified, can easily be done in 30 minutes or less)- If you can complete the Head Timer/Time Drops Cert for this position, I am happy to work jointly with you in this position for this meet to familiarize ourselves with Time Drops.

For all the Safety Marshalls this meet, please make sure you complete your Safe Sport Training and submit your certificate to the RSL for verification by Tuesday.
