Good Morning Leeland Swim Team Families,

          I would like to give a HUGE "Thank You!" to everyone for the team effort that it took last night for our home meet to happen. Thank you for coming together to get it done for our kiddos and each other. I hope you can take some time to rest and recover but I do need to jump right back in with some important announcements for the next couple of weeks: 

          1. We need some new faces to join us as Stroke & Turn Judges. Yes, you can become a Stroke & Turn Judge at any time during the season. Yes, we need you even if you can only participate for this one meet. No, we don't expect you to be perfect at every call and we understand that we are all just volunteers doing our best. 

               I am so thankful for the veteran Stroke & Turn judges who have returned this season and the few new faces that have been out there this year. Unfortunately for these next 2 meets, we know several of our current Stroke & Turn Judges will be absent and we absolutely need your help, we need new people to certify. 

               The training looks like a lot, but if you start now you can take your time, do a few videos at a time then take a break, and it is possible to get this done. Will you please consider taking this training and filling this role for one of these next meets?

              2. I am opening up volunteer sign-ups for the next TWO meets. We have an away meet on Wednesday July 1st and our final home meet on Wednesday July 8th. 

               I will not be here on Wednesday July 8th so I am asking that if you know that you plan to be here for that meet to please sign-up as soon as you are able so that I can do my part to arrange as much as possible for the team before I leave.
