Hello Swim Team Families,
       There is a lot of information that I want to convey so I'll try to make everything concise.
       Firstly if you have not already done so please sign up your swimmers for finals NOW because the deadline to enter your swimmer is TOMORROW 7/17 by 1 p.m.
No additions can be made to the finals heat sheets after the submission deadline of 7/17and we would hate for your kiddos to miss their opportunity to swim at finals if they want to participate.  It takes a lot of time to organize and seed a meet this large which is why swimmers need to be signed-up so early. Thank you!
       Volunteer positions for our 2026 Patriot Division Finals on Saturday July 25th are now open. As we share responsibilities with all the teams in our league, you will see that the volunteer sheet will look a little different than a regular meet. 
        If you are certified to do a particular position, please put that certification to use if you are able. This is what YOU trained for all season parents so be proud of what you can do! 
        For those of you who have never participated in finals before, swim events for finals are laid out differently than a regular swim meet. When you register for a volunteer position please consider when your child might be swimming, do you plan to come early or stay late? You are welcome to volunteer in whichever session you wish and we are always happy to have you, you will always be in good company as some of us will likely be there the whole day! (Yeah, I guess I'm looking at me here and I'm sure there will be others). 
         Session 1 - All events (strokes) for swimmers ages 10 and under
         Session 2- A bit of a mixing bowl where swimmers of all age groups come together for relays, 100 freestyle and 100 IM events. 
         Session 3- All events (strokes) for swimmers ages 11 and up

         If you have questions or concerns about the requirements of a particular volunteer position please feel free to reach out to me. If you could please sign-up for a volunteer position as soon as you are able that would be greatly appreciated so that we have time to make sure the meet is fully staffed and organized.
